What to Knit with 1 Skein of Worsted?

A knitter contacted me today and asked what she could knit with one special skein of Lichen and Lace 4ply Superwash Worsted that she had purchased from me at the Sackville Farmer's Market some time ago.  I thought this was a good opportunity to put together a top five list of my favourite projects to make with 200 yards or less of worsted weight yarn. Soot Hat

Materials:  1 skein Lichen and Lace 80/20 Bulky Yarn ( 100 grams, 76 yards) 10mm 16” circular needle or double pointed needles Gauge: 12 stitches and 16 rows over 4" in knit purl diamond pattern Method: cast on 44 stitches, join in the round and place marker.
