FAQ:

Is shipping included in the yarn club price?

Yes, shipping is included, there is no additional shipping charge if you are in Canada or the USA.  Outside of these countries we might need to contact you for additional shipping charges.  If you are local and prefer to pick up your package, please select YES to the question: are you a sock train member, and then select the local pick up option :)

Is the cost of the club charged each month?

No, this subscription will not renew.  This is a one time purchase and you will not be charged again.

Are the individual packages all working towards the same project of are they three different yarns?

Each package will contain a different yarn base with a different one skein project idea.  Club members will have the option to buy more skeins of the yarn if they want to make a larger project :)

Eco Worsted

100% GOTS certified organic, machine washable, eco-processed Merino wool.  This yarn is a true worsted weight with 200 yards in 115 grams. It is well balanced with a 4 ply construction. Perfect for sweaters, mittens, hats, and so much more. (4-5 stitches per inch, 4.5mm - 5.5mm needles)

1ply Eco Fingering

A 1ply fingering weight yarn with 400 yards in 100 grams. 100% GOTS certified organic, machine washable, eco-processed Merino wool.  I love the organic looking twist of this single ply. Very soft, this yarn is the best for shawls, but also a great choice for scarves, cowls, and other accessories. (6-8 stitches per inch, 2.25mm - 4mm needles)

80/20 Sock

The perfect sock yarn with 365 yards in 100 grams. It is strong with 20% recycled nylon, and machine washable with 80% GOTS certified organic, eco-processed Merino wool. (6-8 stitches per inch, 2.25mm - 4mm needles)

80/20 Bulky

Your new favourite bulky yarn.  One skein has 76 yards and 100 grams - enough to knit a hat from one.  This yarn is a single ply of 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon making it super soft and squishy.  Best for making hats, cowls, and scarves.  Knits up super quick on size 15 (10mm) needles!  (2-3 stitches per inch, 8mm - 15mm needles)

Marsh Mohair

So fuzzy!  So soft!  So pretty! Knit it alone, double stranded or stranded with another yarn.  Marsh Mohair is a lace weight yarn with 64% kid mohair and 36% silk.  There is a whopping 459 yards in each 50 gram skein. (4-7 stitches per inch, 3.25mm - 5mm needles)

80/20 Sock Mini

Our most popular sock yarn as described above, but in a 20 gram mini skein with 73 yards.  Perfect for stripey socks or multicoloured shawl projects.

Rustic Heather Sport

A minimally processed (non-superwash), rustic sport weight yarn made with Canadian wool, spun in New Brunswick at Canada's oldest woolen mill, with colours hand dyed with care by Lichen and Lace. Each skein of Rustic Heather Sport is 215 yards and 56 grams.  Rustic Heather sport knits to 23 -26 stitches in 4” (10cm) on 3mm - 4mm needles.
